Travelling into the unknown has its appeal when the journey is more important than the destination. But if you’d like to reach your destination quickly and conveniently, it’s good to find out how to get there ahead of time. Here are some tips on how to expertly make your way to our guest house.

ARRIVAL BY CAR

Oude Houtlei 110, 9000 Gent. Just enter this address into your GPS system or map service, and let yourself be guided straight to us. We recommend using the ‘app WAZE for finding the most accurate directions and real-time traffic information.
The best when arriving is to stop directly at our front door at nr 110. We will help you with your luggage and accompany you to our private garages in the back or you can use one of the public car parks nearby.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

From Gent-Sint Pieters Station you walk 4 minutes to Meersstraat. There you take bus 2 (towards Zwijnaarde, a journey of 9 minutes) and get off at the Oude Houtlei. From here it is only a 3 minute walk to the B&B. Do you want to get to your destination more easily? Then take a taxi. The journey time between Gent-Sint-Pieters Station and The Verhaegen is around 12 min and covers a distance of around 4 km. A taxi ride will cost about 12 €.
